In my speaking class, I got an assignment to make a conversation via phone. This assignment worked in a group. Unfortunately, I got a group with “upper-attendance-student”. Yes, it’s not a fortune!!!

Last Wednesday ( March 17th ) my partner didn’t attend the speaking class with a reason that she was ill that time and couldn’t get up from her bed, yeah she got headache. It’s okey since I and also she had told to our lecturer about that incident and the lecturer understood about that. Then, our lecturer agreed that we have to perform this assignment in the next meeting.

But it’s very unlucky me!!!! Yesterday (Monday), my partner informed me that for the next meeting (Wednesday or tomorrow or March 24th) she won’t come (AGAIN!!!!!!!) because she’s going to have a kind of surgery on Wednesday. But she told me that she was going to ask our lecturer to allow us performing the assignment not that day, I mean, before the Speaking class, definitely today.

The worst thing I heard today is that my lecturer doesn’t allow us to perform not in the Speaking class and the lecturer said that it means we lost one of our assignment score. Then my partner beg my pardon and said sorry. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!!! HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT EASILY!!!!!!!!!! Then I said ”It’s okay!”
But, I realized when I opened my notebook that assignment score has role 60% from my speaking score. Suddenly, I got a bit confused and start thinking. Directly, at 10 to 3 I drove myself to the Lecturer’s Room to meet my speaking lecturer.

Adit: “Ms, speakingnya itu saya gimana? Katanya….”

Lecturer: “Oh, yang tadi itu ya?”

Adit: “Iya Ms., because the agreement….”

Lecturer: “It’s Ok. It’s all because your partner have made a mistake, and I know who the one makes the mistake. I will consider about every activity in class. Yes, you missed one weekly performance. You still have others”

Adit: “But Ms., I saw on the agreement, it said that weekly performance cost 60% of all!”

Lecturer: “Yeah, there are 3 weekly performance to be assessed and one has done. It means that you still have 2 other weekly performance left. I think it doesn’t matter, I will consider you.”

Adit: “Loh Ms.!!!!! Please give me….Maybe a kind of replacement of assignment.”

Lecturer: “Okey, we’ll see tomorrow. Maybe your partner will come. But it’s okey, we’ll see tomorrow”

ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!!!At least it cheer me up though only a bit, but still be grateful.
