This post is about my academic experience. Always about academic…haha, yeah however I am still a student.

Today I finally received my semester academic transcript. Alhamdulillah, I got good result for the umpteenth time. I am really really grateful to be given such thing .

I do not know why… but according to my experience, in my respective even semester, I always get good GPA. I mean.. my GPA always increased, though I had just experienced two even semester. I always initiated my new semester with my typical enthusiasm, including semester 4.

Before semester 4 commenced, of course I planned my study. At that time, I was amazed and enthusiastic with the new course name brought by the new curriculum in my department. I was curious with all new great course-names. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm and curiosity about the new semester was somewhat broken down. It was because of 4 things. haha, it was silly that I got upset due to such “trivial” matters. I says “trivial” in order not to exaggerate it . But, I cannot deny that those things affected a lot in my semester 4. I, however, was unable to enjoy semester 4 as much as my previous semesters.

Before mid-term exam, what turned me down even lower than the ground was the term plagiarism. I was always afraid when I was accused to do plagiarism, though I never did it.  However, it was just because my lecturers told me that when they found any “sophisticated” words used in the paper and the students did not cite the source, they would be suspected as doing plagiarism. It caused such a storm in my head and got me stomachache, haha though I always cite any sources I use. Yeah, it had something to do with 2 of 4 things I mentioned previously. Surely, I could not enjoy a lot. Eventually, after the semester ended, I knew that it was just my negative thinking. My negative thinking was “I was not convinced that my lecturers would believe that I could do anything good”. For sure, they did believe me so that they scored my works well – more than I expected.

My semester 4, though I did not enjoy maximally, brought me lots of my “first” things; good scores in every of my mid-term test, being committee of national event, Jakarta, Garuda Indonesia, scholarship, and achieved ELPT score target. Hahaha, it was just like a dream, but I did undergo it. Alhamdulillah, thank you, God, for providing me those experiences. continue reading…..
